What peels do

Renewal, controlled, not forced.

Chemical peels support renewal and correction by encouraging the skin to shed and rebuild in a controlled way. Depth is introduced gradually, by skin readiness, from gentler to more intensive.

I only recommend peels after your skin’s condition, history, and home care have been assessed, and each peel is followed with aftercare guidance so progress is protected.

Scope, in plain language: I work as a corrective skin specialist and medical aesthetician. I recommend treatments and home care within that scope. I do not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe medication.

The Perfect Derma Peel & AFA peels

Two peel families, selected for your skin and your plan:

The Perfect Derma Peel: a medium-depth peel I recommend when your plan calls for a stronger, single-session reset, with clear aftercare and downtime guidance.

AFA amino fruit acid peels: progressive amino fruit acid peels, available at three levels, introduced step by step as readiness allows.

Level 1: GentleLevel 2: ProgressiveLevel 3: Intensive

Questions, answered plainly

Chemical Peels FAQ

How much is a chemical peel?

Priced at consultation. The peel family and level depend on your skin’s readiness and goals, so pricing is confirmed after assessment.

What is the difference between The Perfect Derma Peel and AFA peels?

The Perfect Derma Peel is a medium-depth peel used as a stronger, single-session reset. AFA amino fruit acid peels progress through Levels 1–3, introduced gradually as readiness allows.

Will I peel or have downtime?

It depends on the peel and level. Pollianna explains expected shedding, downtime, and aftercare before you decide, so there are no surprises.

Is this a medical treatment?

No. The Skin Health Lab is a corrective skin health studio. I recommend care as a corrective skin specialist; I do not diagnose conditions or prescribe medication.
